Compact Cinema permanently closed, but TED Talks live on at the Main Library

As you may have noticed, Compact Cinema permanently closed back in April at 16 West.  We then moved the TED Talk screenings out into the common area of 16 West through July, and have now moved the TED Talks to a new home, the Roanoke City Main Public Library!

Introducing Tuesday TED Talks @ Roanoke City Main Library, on the free trolley line at 706 South Jefferson Street.

  • Noon – 1:00pm
  • Always free
  • Civil Conversation & Ideas Worth Sharing
  • In the 1st floor “teen classroom”

TUESDAY TEDs is a partnership between Roanoke City Libraries Community Involvement & TEDTalks Roanoke.
