Friday 2/20: 5:30pm and Saturday 2/21: 3:00pm

Due to inclement weather interfering with the two screenings of “American Denial” so far, we’re adding two more screenings later this week.  These are the last screenings we’re able to offer, so we hope you’ll come see this fascinating and riveting documentary about how the American psyche has evolved regarding race.  Don’t miss these last chances to see it on the big screen, on Friday at 5:30pm and Saturday at 3:00pm.  Please tell your friends about it, whether you can make it or not.

American Denial explores the impact of unconscious biases around race and class, using Gunnar Myrdal’s 1944 investigation of Jim Crow racism.  It is the February movie in the Roanoke Public Library’s “Community Cinema” monthly documentary film series.
